Though educated as a chartered accountant in India, Sid has always had the restless ambition of an entrepreneur at heart. His work took him from India to Kuwait to Saudi Arabia, and finally to Toronto. He  started his business part-time in 1997, while continuing to work as an accountant. Sid didn’t have a lot of money to invest so when he was presented with an opportunity to start his own business for a low startup fee he knew that with his ambition, drive, determination and would make his successful.

Sid’s wife, Rup, has a background in environmental engineering and had planned to complete her PhD, but when she married Sid in 1998 she became committed to working with Sid as business partners. Soon, she was able to leave her job and be a full-time mom to their son Arjun.

The success of their business has given them the freedom to live life on their own terms. The couple believes that working side by side as life and business partners enriches their relationship and has made their life in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga better for their family, which includes Sid’s father, who is also involved in their business.

As the Gangulys have achieved success in their business, they also give their time and energy to support worthwhile charities. They are especially active supporting Easter Seals and the U.S. Dream Academy due to the programs these organizations have developed to meet the needs of children and returning veterans. The Gangulys truly understand the value of helping others and have made it a priority in their lives.

Today, Sid and Rup continue to follow their dream, and are very proud of the business they have built. They are confident that they will continue to have success as long as they continue to work without doubt, maintaining the faith and good that they see in everybody and everything. As Sid says, “As an entrepreneur, I like the fact that your success is determined by your efforts; the more you do, the more you can be successful.”
